This puffin is one of two bronze puffins that spent a winter sailing in the North Atlantic just like real life puffins. In that time they travelled over 30,000 miles aboard the two ferries operated by the Northlink Ferry company.
The sister puffin to the one you see here was donated to the Scottish Wildlife Trust to raise funds for their conservation programmes. It was auctioned and raised £1750.
In recognition of my work for the Scottish Wildlife Trust, I was made a foundation member and an ambassador for the trust.
